THREADED NON- INTEGRATED DIFFUSERThe threaded diffuser base utilizes the same proven technology as used on a standard NOZ-CHEK® seat, which eliminates sealing area misalignment and ensures valve integrity over full lifetime of valve.
SINGLE SPRING AROUND A CENTRAL GUIDEThe valve uses a single compression spring, which provides reliability through simplicity and low stresses. Design certified to over 25 million cycles.
DISC/DISC STEMMachined to tight tolerances to ensure any potential leak path on the sealing surface when the valve is closed against the seat. The disc has been designed also with weight saving in mind and type tested to over 2 million cycles with no degradation to performance.
RAPID RESPONSEShort stroke design allows the check valve to open quickly under inlet flow. This means less pressure loss whilst stopping pressure surge, therefore protecting equipment. ----------------------------------
NON-SLAMImmediate non-slam disc reaction when a noticeable reduction in flow occurs, limiting backflow and slamming due to water-hammer.
CLAD LINING OPTIONFor corrosive service where a high grade corrosion resistant alloy is required, the cost of a valve made from the solid CRA material can be prohibitive. In these cases it can be suitable to instead offer a lower grade base material where the full internal wetted area is weld overlaid with 3mm lining of the CRA material.
