Noz-Chek® Cryogenic Valves meet stringent government regulations and industry standards.
The following standards are used across the valve industry to define key requirements for design, test and performance of check valves at cryogenic temperatures. BS 6364 (British Valve Standard), ISO 28921 – 1 (International Standards Organisation) and MSS SP-134 ( Manufacturing Standards Society). The most common, and stringent of these, is BS 6364 and has been in use since its implementation in 1984.
The main measure of valves' performance is the seat leak rate, typically at -196°C ( -320°F). This supports customer requirements for fugitive emissions control, often driven by government regulatory body enforcement.
